Green Tea

Green tea is another natural fat burner and it's accessible just about everywhere! The components in green tea increase levels of hormones that tell fat cells to break down fat. This releases fat into the bloodstream and makes it available as energy which in result can help boost your metabolism.

 

Try replacing your daily caramel macchiato for a hot or iced green tea and start watching your body fat levels decrease as well as a boost of energy.

 

Pears

Add pears to your fruit bowl if you want to lose pounds. Pears help you feel full and keep you from overeating. The skin of a pear also contains fiber which can help detoxify the body from unwanted waste that can in some cases store in the body as fat.

 

Try eating a pear before your next meal to help curve or suppress your appetite.

 

Grapefruit

Grapefruit actually lowers the insulin levels in the body; not by a lot but just enough to help prevent the storage of fat. This slightly decreased insulin level prevents the body from storing as much sugar as fat. Those lower insulin levels also help curb appetite, as a high insulin level is what turns the brain on that it's time to bring some energy into the stomach.

 

Another upside is that it takes your body more calories to digest a grapefruit than the amount of calories a grapefruit has. Which in result will boost your metabolism and cause your body to burn the stored fat
